Last year in mid July, I had the opportunity to bring on board one of my favorite artists of all time, William Omar Landron Rivera. Don Omar was there with his video team and few members of Los Orfanatos, filming an infomercial for schools in Puerto Rico. Its artists like this who always find a way to make a connection with their native people and heighten their role model status. He was very personable and humble, making this a great learning experience.
Seeing his level of expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail, clearly explains his level of success. It was hard trying to keep the groupie inside of me, because the battle between being serious and having fun gets serious when you keep telling yourself over and over that it is in fact Don Omar in studio. Check off the bucket list for me.
